Rotary screw air compressor - Electra-Saver

Built to Last. Engineered to Save.
The Gardner Denver Electra Saver® has earned its reputation the hard way, by running reliably in some of North America's most demanding industrial plants, year after year. At the core of its design is a simple but powerful idea: larger airends running at slower speeds last longer and work more efficiently.
For facilities in Québec, Ontario, and Atlantic Canada requiring 350 to 500 HP of fixed-speed compressed air, the Electra Saver® is a proven, low-maintenance solution backed by over 160 years of Gardner Denver engineering and supported locally by Aircom Technologies, your authorized Gardner Denver distributor for Eastern Canada since 1999.
A Design That Stands the Test of Time
While competitors push their compressors harder and faster, Gardner Denver took a different approach. The Electra Saver® runs at 1800 RPM with an airend up to 40% larger than comparable units and that makes all the difference.
- Up to 40% larger airend than the competition at equal horsepower
- Super-sized bearings for reduced wear and extended service intervals
- Direct-drive design; no belts, no unnecessary complexity
- 1800 RPM high-efficiency motor; less heat, less wear, lower operating costs
- Stainless steel control lines and seamless lubricant tubing as standard
- Available in enclosed or open-frame configurations to fit your plant layout
Fewer moving parts under less stress means fewer breakdowns and more production time for your team.
Smarter Capacity Control
Most industrial air systems don't run at full capacity all the time. The Electra Saver® handles partial load conditions with Gardner Denver's patented TurnValve™, a variable displacement technology that has been saving energy for over 30 years.
Instead of wasting power compressing air you don't need, the TurnValve™ continuously adjusts the effective compression volume to match your actual demand, without affecting system pressure stability.
- Automatically adapts to fluctuating air demand in real time
- Eliminates pressure swings, no need for oversized storage tanks
- More efficient than load/unload or modulated inlet control in the 60–100% capacity range, where most systems actually operate
- Proven over three decades in heavy industrial environments
The TurnValve™ isn't an option or an add-on, it's built into the airend itself, making every Electra Saver® inherently efficient at partial load.
Every Electra Saver® includes the AirSmart™ microprocessor controller, designed for straightforward operation and powerful diagnostics:
- Clear 4-line LCD display with at-a-glance status LEDs
- 29 advisory and 68 shutdown diagnostic sources
- Stores the last 6 advisories and 6 shutdowns in memory
- Displays consumable part numbers when service is needed
- NEMA 4 control enclosure, built for the plant floor
- Optional sequencing for up to 8 compressors
- Optional Ethernet connectivity for remote monitoring
